Halloween is just around the corner - meaning there are only a few days left to scramble for a last-minute costume and make sure your party plans are in order. If you love getting dressed up, this is the best holiday to show off your creative styling skills and pull off something fabulous. However if you're more interested in making your place look fabulous, take a look at some of the easy DIY decorating ideas I've used in the past. They're quick, cheap and easy, so you'll have more time for getting ready - and maybe even a quick cocktail before guests show up ;)

The glass candlesticks and vase are from the dollar store. The wine bottles should be rinsed and you can choose to peel the labels off. Be sure to lay down a tarp and wear rubber gloves to spray-paint; it's a messy job. I chose a flat black indoor/outdoor spray-paint that you can pick up at your local hardware store. Let dry completely before using candles. Once dry, add some white or striped candles and let the wax drip down to add to the eery look.
